We are currently seeking a passionate and highly experiencedSenior Chef de Partie / Junior Sous Chef to join the team at a high volume pub on the Mornington Peninsula that offer their guests a lot more than your average pub food.

As the Senior Chef de Partie / Junior Sous Chef you will work well within the team to ensure the smooth running of this high volume kitchen. You will work closely with the senior chefs with menu development and staff training while receiving mentoring and coaching from a group of industry leaders.

The Venue is apart of a growing independently owned group with venues around Australia so the possibilities of career progression are endless!

As the successful candidate you will;
  • Completion of a relevant Commercial Cookery qualifications
  • Previous experience within a Chef de Partie /Sous Chef position
  • Strong in all sections of the kitchen
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • The ability to run a high volume kitchen efficiently
  • Competency with ordering and managing stock
  • The ability to work well under pressure and lead your team by example
  • Excellent knowledge of the hotel industries current food trends
  • Promote a respectful and friendly working environment
