Job Description

Due to business growth we are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join the team at our food production kitchen in Portsea.

We are seeking a candidate with the following attributes:

Highly motivated team player
Can demonstrate full capabilities across all areas of the kitchen
Displays superior communication and leadership skills
Experienced in meeting food and wage budgets
Knowledge of HACCP procedures and committed to food safety and hygiene
Flexibility with roster, available Monday to Friday with shifts varying across a 6am – 7pm schedule
Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to the head chef and lead in their absence
Contribute to the successful operation of the kitchen by assisting with staff management, food production, quality control and financial management
