About the business and the role

The Wellness Manor is Mornington Peninsula’s most luxurious Day Spa Retreat that provides a lifestyle change for the thinking individual.

The Wellness Manor offers Day Spa Retreats, Detox Programs and Medical Skin Therapies, all tailored to meet the individuals requirements. At The Wellness Manor there is no expectation of what beauty is and we believe that everyone has their own beauty. We help provide vitality and laughter and advocate the four pillars of health: Nutrition, Exercise, Detox and Skin Health. Dr Sally Shaw, who has had 25yrs experience in Women’s health and Skin health, has designed an effective and reflective experience.

Our staff deliver 6 star service to all guests, they are caring and mindful, accepting the differences we all have in mind and body.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The Reception and Guest Services role will include (but will not be limited to) the following tasks;

  • Support the Business Manager in the coordination and day to day operations of a busy Medical Day Spa.
  • Organising and cooodintating a dynamic team
  • Leading the reception and host customer service team
  • Working with the Business Manager and Marketing team to deliver the Brand values
  • Hosting and facilitation of the guest journey
  • Calls and enquiries
  • Treatment bookings
  • Product sales
  • Gift Voucher sales

Skills and experience

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following skill set;

  • Day Spa experience essential
  • Will have held role or be able to demonstrate leadership qualities
  • Passionate about providing outstanding 6 star guest service
  • Vibrant and enthusiastic with a professional work ethic
  • Computer literate and able to navigate an on line booking system (training provided)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability multi task
  • Have an interest in or hold skills and qualification in the Health, Beauty and Wellness industry
  • Ability to prioritise and manage the day to day requirements of the facility
  • Have an outgoing and can do approach to their work
  • Flexible in taking on task as assigned
  • Available for a flexible working week that will include weekends and some public holidays
  • Accessible and available to team members

Experience in  star tourism business or similar environment an advantage.
