The Team Leader Customer Service is responsible for providing quality customer service to customers through the daily management of the customer service team, including centralised complaint handling, regular coaching, providing direction to address complex customer problems, administering procedures, and ensuring progress against key performance indicators are tracked and regularly met.

To be successful in this position you will need to address the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team in the delivery of high quality customer service;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of metering and billing processes with experience managing customer accounts in the utility industry or local government;
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team;
  • Ability to effectively manage your own time and the time of others, set priorities and achieve objectives and goals within required timeframes and that of a team; and
  • Demonstrated capability in exercising sound judgement and initiative, while managing sensitive information.
