Nursery Hand

We have a new position available within our team to support our expansion. The successful candidate will possess the following traits: • Physically fit • A positive work ethic • Willingness to learn • Ability to work as part of a team • Good communication skills • Ability to work unsupervised • Current drivers’ licence Duties of the new role will include, but won’t be limited to: • Growing site development • Potting of trees and shrubs • Pruning, staking, and weeding of stock • Order picking and loading of trucks • Chemical spraying upon occasions for weeds and/or pests • General site maintenance • Irrigation establishment and maintenance Successful candidate will receive inhouse training on the job regarding the duties, and some external training and accreditation will be provided where required. This is a full time position, and above nursery award rates offered. Negotiable based on experience. Room for career progression is available and encouraged.
