Cafe Manager

Job Description

Enchanted Adventure is seeking a bright and enthusiastic hospitality superstar to join our team as our Café Manager.

This position reports to the General Manager and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the park’s hospitality offerings.

Your key accountabilities will include;
• Ensuring the café team is managed in a fair, friendly and cohesive way. This includes coordinating efficient rosters, performance management, training and development of all employees within the department.
• Fostering a strong team while leading by example to ensure all café team members are supported.
• Reviewing and continuing to ensure all EA policies and procedures are adhered to.
• As the manager you are the main point of contact for café related customer service and enquiries.
• Maintaining appropriate food, health, and safety standards throughout the café and kitchen ensuring all café staff maintain appropriate food handling certification and internal training endorsements.
• Delivering excellent customer service in line with Enchanted Adventure policies and procedures.
• Working closely with management to develop any new café products and services.
• Monitoring and maintaining café stock and equipment.
• Ensuring yourself and all Café Attendants are actively complying with EA’s Child Safety and Wellbeing policy and commitment.

You possess an understanding of tourism, attractions, and business operational requirements and have previous experience in a hospitality management role. You are a self-motivated individual who can work independently, as well as under direction, in an activity driven environment.

You are a natural-born leader with an aptitude to guide and manage a small team of Café Attendants, whilst fostering a culture that promotes teamwork. You have the ability to remain calm under pressure and be adaptable to various situations.

You will have excellent customer service skills with a “can do” attitude and demonstrated initiative. An interest in learning all aspects of the business will assist you in problem solving and addressing customer queries in a solution focused way.

Enchanted Adventure is a multi-award-winning eco-adventure park located on the Mornington Peninsula. We offer exciting outdoor experiences for families, couples, schools, and corporate groups. We specialise in Tree Surfing and tube sliding adventure amongst 25 acres of manicured gardens and play activity for the whole family.
